| LTWM joins Marysville, OH believers in "Taking It To The Streets." |
 Hundreds of people flooded the downtown streets of Marysville, Ohio on the final weekend of July. With so many people coming together, some believers in Christ saw a tremendous opportunity to invite the crowd to CELEBRATE CHRIST. Under the leadership of various Christian ministries, a downtown parking lot was transformed into an area where the good news of Jesus could be proclaimed.
On Saturday, LTWM set up a booth. Information about the Lord we seek to serve was shared through conversations with those who passed by. Cd's of Bob's preaching were also given to anyone who expressed an interest. ALIVE presented a concert of worship late Saturday afternoon. Mandy, Staci and our 2 summer musicians (Amy & Jordan) did their usual effective job of pointing to the Living Word. However, they once again took a second seat to the SAFE HARBOR KIDS. Mandy & Dave's children stole the show and the hearts of those who attended the concert.
On Sunday, over 200 congregated at the same downtown location for a time of worship. Members of ALIVE were a part of the worship team with Mandy providing some key leadership. A spirit of unity permeated the parking lot as believers from a variety of traditions CELEBRATED CHRIST. The reality of Christ's presence moved the leadership to begin planning for another ministry event in October. The unity of celebration will lead to a day of community service held on October 7, 2007. The theme of the gathering and scattering is "FAITH IN ACTION~Love is a VERB!" The staff of LTWM will be heavily involved in this effort to make Christ's love real in the town where our offices are located.
